Orange & Bronze hosted the first Philippine Google Technologies Users Group last July 24, 2009 right at the company's office in Makati City. Attendees included local software developers as well as Orange & Bronze's own employees while Software Developer Roger "Godie" Filomeno introduced and discussed new ways in which the Google apps engine can be used to create new applications in Facebook.

Godie also mentioned how using Google apps can actually be a more inexpensive yet still effective alternative for setting up websites or for doing internet marketing campaigns.

The first PhilGTUG meeting was also facilitated by Google Country Consultant Aileen Apolo.
